Licensed, compliant roll-off service for San Antonio and South Texas contractors, staged when your crew needs it and pulled when the job moves on.

South Texas Dumpsters provides construction dumpster rental across San Antonio, Austin, and the surrounding South Texas communities, sized and scheduled around how a build actually runs. We have worked with general contractors, demolition crews, roofers, and remodelers here since 2013, so we stage the right container for the phase you are in and swap it before it slows you down.

Every load leaves under a fully licensed hauler, which is not something every operator in this metro can say. Call 210-372-8666 for a quote on your project.

Roll-off containers built for construction work

red container full of constuction debris

Construction debris is heavy and it comes fast, so the container has to match the material, not just the volume. We run 20, 30, and 40 yard roll-off containers and fit the size to the debris your phase generates, whether that is mixed C&D, concrete and brick, framing lumber, or roof tear-off. For most San Antonio commercial jobs the 30 and 40 yard carry the bulk of the work, with the 20 yard held back for tight sites and weight-dense loads.

Full dimensions and specs live on each size page, linked below, and you can always call us to talk through the fit. See our full roll-off lineup on our Dumpster Rental page.

20-yard roll-off

Best for tight job sites and weight-heavy debris like concrete, brick, and asphalt, where a smaller footprint and a lighter load make sense.

30-yard roll-off

The common choice for commercial build-outs, renovations, and mid-size demolition, with room for mixed construction debris and bulky materials.

40-yard roll-off

For major commercial construction, full demolition, and large cleanouts that throw off high volumes of lighter debris.

Not sure which one fits? We will walk the scope with you and recommend a container. For a closer look at sizing a remodel, see our dumpster sizing for renovations, or call 210-372-8666.

Who we serve on the construction side

client and contractor handshaking on top of site plans

General contractors and commercial build-outs

This is the bulk of our construction work. We stage containers for tenant improvements, commercial build-outs, and new construction across San Antonio and Austin, and we keep the cadence going as the job moves from rough-in to finish.

Demolition crews

Demolition fills a container fast and heavy. We bring the size that suits the structure and run swaps so the teardown keeps moving instead of stopping to wait on a haul.

Roofing contractors

Tear-off debris is dense, so weight matters more than volume on a roofing job. We stage a container sized for shingle and decking waste and pull it the moment it fills, so the crew never has to work around a full box.

Remodels and renovations

Interior and whole-home remodels produce a steady mix of drywall, flooring, cabinetry, and framing. We match the container to the scope and adjust the rental window as the schedule shifts.

Landscaping and site clearing

Land clearing and large-scale property work generate heavy soil and organic debris. We size for the weight and set the container where the equipment can actually reach it.

How we keep your site supplied

We deliver into our core San Antonio and Austin service areas, and on larger projects we will stage more than one container or run swaps so the work never stops to wait on disposal. A swap is simple: we pick up the full container, haul it for disposal, and drop an empty in the same spot on the same visit. Same-day and next-day delivery is available in core areas when you call to confirm, and we will not promise a same-day drop two counties out that we cannot keep.

Keep a container for the length of the job, and we will build the schedule around your timeline. If the crew also needs sanitation, we can add jobsite units from our Porta Potty Rental service on the same delivery.

What goes in a construction dumpster

demolition site debris

Our construction containers take the materials a build, renovation, or demolition produces. If you have something you are unsure about, tell us before delivery and we will route it correctly, including special waste we are licensed to handle.

Accepted:

  • Construction and demolition debris (C&D)
  • Concrete, brick, block, and asphalt
  • Framing lumber, wood, and pallets
  • Drywall, roofing, and siding
  • Scrap metal and fixtures

For regulated or contaminated material, we are licensed to classify and haul certain special waste streams.

Why contractors choose South Texas Dumpsters

We have hauled for South Texas construction for over ten years, and we carry licensing that a lot of this metro’s haulers do not. South Texas Dumpsters holds the City of San Antonio Solid Waste Haulers Permit, an EPA ID (TXR000083663), Railroad Commission of Texas registration (RN109046839), and an IHW transporter license (SWR 96263), so your debris leaves the site with a hauler that is documented and compliant.

That matters when an inspector or a GC asks where the waste went. See our Permits and credentials page for the full stack. Call 210-372-8666 to get a container on your site.

Construction dumpster rental in San Antonio: common questions

What can I put in a construction dumpster?

Common building and demolition materials: concrete, brick, lumber, drywall, roofing, scrap metal, and fixtures. We cannot take hazardous materials, liquids, tires, batteries, or appliances that still hold refrigerant. Ask us about anything in between.

Do I need a permit for a dumpster on my job site?

On private property, no. If the container sits on a public street or right of way, the city or county may require a permit, and the rules vary across Bexar, Travis, and the surrounding counties. Tell us where it is going and we will tell you what your jurisdiction expects.

How long can I keep the dumpster?

For the length of your job. Give us your timeline and we will set the rental period around it, then extend it if the schedule moves.

What happens if a load runs heavy?

We size the container to the debris so that is rare, but a load that runs heavy or sits over the fill line can carry an added disposal charge. We quote by location and explain any weight or extended-rental charge up front, so nothing surprises you on the invoice.

Can you swap a full container during the job?

Yes. On larger sites we run swaps, picking up the full container and dropping an empty in its place on the same visit, so the crew keeps loading.

Do you serve Austin and the Hill Country?

Yes. We cover San Antonio and Austin, Bexar and Travis counties, and surrounding communities like New Braunfels, Boerne, Seguin, and San Marcos. See our full list of locations we serve here.
